About me

Currently, I am in the third and final year of my PhD at the University of Hamburg under the supervision of Paul Wedrich. I am on the job market to start in Fall 2026!

Part of my funding comes from the Collaborative Research Center 1624: Higher Structures, Moduli Spaces and Integrability, and I am a member of the Cluster of Excellence: Quantum Universe.

I am interested in categorification in the context of low-dimensional topology, representation theory, and mathematical physics. My PhD project revolves around the construction and extension of \((3+\varepsilon)\)-dimensional TQFTs from link homology theory. In particular, I study the skein theory of decorated surfaces in 3-manifolds. Read more about my research here.

I am also managing the multimedia studio of the Department of Mathematics and I am interested in science communication. Occasionally, I take the pictures at CRC1624 events.

Previously, I have obtained my double Master’s degree in Mathematical Sciences and Theoretical Physics at Utrecht University.
